Chicago Booth Conference on Finance and Development

The Chicago Booth Conference on Finance and Development took place on September 26 — 27. 2025. It started with a full-day workshop bringing together some of the foremost experts in finance, economics and development. This was followed by a half-day session specifically for junior scholars. The conference was designed to foster collaborative dialogue, both to reflect on key lessons and challenges from the last two decades, and to identify the most pressing and promising areas for future research.
