Financing Africa’s Clean Energy Future: Outcomes from the 2025 Climate Summit in Addis Ababa

In early September 2025, all eyes in the climate advocacy space were on Africa for the second edition of the Africa Climate Summit. This time the summit was hosted by Ethiopia, and took place at the Addis International Convention Center in Addis Ababa. The three-day event explored nature-based and technology-driven solutions, climate adaptation, renewable energy, sustainable food systems, green cities, e-mobility, indigenous knowledge, and community-led solutions.
